"JohnX has a vast well of drum and musical knowledge. My studies with John have covered several different styles and techniques. We are now working on a technique we call 'less is more' drumming. This one concept has impacted my drumming more than anything else John and I have worked on. By incorporating 'less is more' I allow space for the other musicians to voice their instruments. The best benefit is, these musicians would prefer to have me play drums over drummers with more experience and better chops. Students of JohnX all agree on his ability to communicate.
